Dungeon Locked in with darkness all around I flinch at every sound Holding myself tight To keep out the fright This room is cold and wet with unmerciful winds God,what did I do to deserve this? What was my sin? Suddenly I hear a man and a jingle of keys I cry,"Let me out please!" Then fall to the floor The man sighs,but opens the door Floods in beautiful light Then out goes the darkness Out goes my fright |

I just got a sudden burst of inspiration for this poem.Nothing I particularly based it on.
I wrote this poem September 16,2007-Sunday;7th grade. (I'm still in 7th grade till next Friday.) Yeah,I date all my poems. |
